Nigel Dawkins, the Conservative candidate for Birmingham Selly Oak would like to thank the people of the Selly Oak constituency who voted for him in the 2010 General Election. Together, we achieved a swing of 7.6% towards the Conservatives, and we reduced the Labour majority by over 5,700 votes. We also took over 31% of the votes overall, against the 23.5% we had in the 2005 General Election, so thank you to every one of you.
